Custom Policy

Returns

All custom work created at Fitzgerald Jewelry is final sale and not capable of return or exchange.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Fitzgerald Jewelry LLC retains the rights to all original (custom) jewelry designs, including custom commissions. Clients purchasing custom jewelry own the physical item but not the design itself. For an additional fee, clients may request design exclusivity, in which case Fitzgerald Jewelry LLC agrees not to reproduce or resell the same or similar design for any other customer.

Deposits and partial payments made towards custom, made-to-order, and repair projects are non-refundable final sales, without exception. Should you choose not to move forward with your project, we are unable to transfer your payments toward another project or purpose, or convert your payment to store credit.

Custom Projects

Payments made towards custom projects are ineligible for refund and custom fees cannot be transferred for credit.

Made-to-order Items

Payments made towards made-to-order projects are ineligible for refund and cannot be transferred for store credit.

In Store Purchases

Unmodified, standard purchases are ineligible for refund, but are eligible for exchange or store credit within 14 days of original purchase date. 
Resized or modified purchases are ineligible for refund, but may be eligible for store credit after a restocking fee of $750 has been applied.

Repairs

Payments made towards repairs are ineligible for refund. 

Deposit

The deposit payment is a binding contract with Fitzgerald Jewelry LLC and is non-refundable for any reason.

Timeline

All custom work takes between 6-8 weeks, unless a different time frame is agreed upon at the time of deposit.

Care

Fitzgerald Jewelry will resize and re-polish all rings made in the studio for the life of the piece or as long as we are in business. Complimentary repair work on pieces made by Fitzgerald Jewelry will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Insuring

It is the client’s responsibility to insure their pieces. Fitzgerald Jewelry is not responsible for any lost or broken pieces or stones.
