Scope of Appraisals

For jewelry created or sold by Fitzgerald Jewelry we guarantee that the materials, gemstones, and craftsmanship are represented accurately to the best of our knowledge and documentation. Certificates of authenticity and/or receipts may accompany these items.

For jewelry not purchased from Fitzgerald Jewelry, appraisals are provided solely as the independent opinion of a certified appraiser. Fitzgerald Jewelry makes no warranties regarding authenticity, origin, or prior history of such items.

Limitations of Value

Appraised values represent the professional opinion of the appraiser on the date of evaluation.
Values may change with market conditions and do not guarantee resale or replacement value.

1. Independent Appraisal
All appraisals are performed by an independent, certified appraiser.
Fitzgerald Jewelry does not assign, determine, or guarantee the appraised value.

2. Opinion of Value
Appraisals represent the professional opinion of the appraiser at the time of evaluation.
Values are based on current market conditions, which may change over time.
The appraised value is not a guarantee of resale or replacement value.

3. Authenticity & Provenance
Unless otherwise noted in writing, Fitzgerald Jewelry makes no representations or warranties regarding the authenticity, origin, age, or previous ownership of the item(s) submitted for appraisal.

4. Limitation of Liability
By submitting items for appraisal, you acknowledge that Fitzgerald Jewelry is not responsible for:
Any differences of opinion between appraisers, insurers, or future evaluators.
Any market fluctuations that affect the value after the date of appraisal.
Any loss, damage, or claim arising from reliance on the appraisal.

5. Use of Appraisal
Appraisals may be used for informational or insurance purposes only. Insurance providers may require additional verification. Customers are encouraged to confirm coverage directly with their insurer.
